The Sweet Single Journey: ***Things Change***

The Stillness of the Tree Sitting watching the trees puts my soul at ease. The stillness and beauty in each and every one of their leaves Makes me wonder sometimes why that can’t be me; Owning the stillness like this here tree To be at such peace with every fiber of my being, I long to mimic everything that I am seeing. Its roots stand strong in confidence, no matter what the weather, In the strongest storm, still standing tall and keeping it all together. And when the wind blows, it moves with it faithfully, Dancing with nature ever so gracefully. It goes with the flow, in the rain, sleet or snow Only to return to peace, so you would never know What it has just been through, it shows no pain because it simply endured and embraced any and every change. It continues to stand as tall as it wants to, reaching for the sky, Yet, it stays deeply rooted through the test of time and it never dies, Makes me wonder sometimes why that cant be me Owning the stillness, and the resilience, of this here tree -Thiz_Woman_Cares
